The city of Rockford is home to a small community of about 4,500 people. Located just over 40 minutes west of Minneapolis, Rockford provides a small-town feel within driving distance to the big city.
The majority of the City is located in Wright County, but a small portion extends into Hennepin County. Fortunately, Rockford is entirely served by the Rockford School District.
Rockford has five city parks with Riverside Park being the largest. Riverside Park consists of 7 acres along the Crow River and offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, ice skating, and other outdoor activities.
