The city of Ramsey is home to a thriving community of more than 27,000 people. Located just under 40 minutes northwest of Minneapolis, Ramsey is the fastest-growing city in Anoka County.
Ramsey is proud of its growing business district. Since 1995, Ramsey has added more than 1.7 million square feet of industrial space, much of which can be found in its three business parks: Energy Park, Business Park 1995, and Gateway Park. Additionally, the City is easily connected to Minneapolis via Highway 10, 169, 47, and the Northstar Commuter Rail.
The growing population is served by Elk River School District and Anoka-Hennepin School District.
Ramsey is bordered on two sides by the Rum and Mississippi Rivers. The City has 500 acres of city parks that offer opportunities for swimming, hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. Over 15 percent of the City’s area is protected wetlands as well.
